A warm welcome to our new colleagues
Kings Park Guides are delighted to welcome our 26 new Guides who have just graduated from their training course. The course is one day a week for 14 weeks and gives trainee Guides a really good grounding in botany, history, Aboriginal use of plants and guiding skills.
New Guides will be on probation for three months and you will see them leading walks with other Guides and then on their own. They will also be staffing the Visitor Information Centre (VIC). Join a free daily guided walk or pop into the VIC and give them a warm welcome.
If you are interested in other volunteering roles in the park, contact Friends of Kings Park or visit their website to find out about all the opportunities available.
