Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All
National Science Week is celebrated annually in Australia and this year runs from 15 to 23 August. The theme for 2026 is ‘Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All’.
Over 2000 events are taking place across the country including several in Kings Park. As part of the initiative Kings Park will be collaborating with the ABC on its ‘Australia’s Favourite Wildflower Project’ and sharing stories about the science, beauty and diversity of Western Australia’s wildflowers. You can vote for Australia’s favourite wildflower here. The winner will be announced on 21 August.
