Celebrate our wildflowers, culture and conservation at Kings Park

Spring has sprung and it is the ideal time to visit Kings Park. The Everlasting Kings Park Festival runs from 12-29 September. The festival celebrates the amazing plant life of Western Australia, promoting its beauty and the pressing need for its conservation. Find out more about the festival here. A full and varied programme of activities, many of which are free, is available here.

Kings Park Guides will be running our usual free daily guided walks during the Festival as well as several Themed Walks:

  • Free guided Discover Kings Park walks at 10am and 1pm daily
  • Free guided Bushland and Wildflowers walks at 1pm daily
  • Free Water Views and Wilderness guided walks every Monday at 10am

None of the free daily guided walks require booking in advance, just go to the bottom of the steps near the Visitor Information Centre 5-10 minutes before the walks start time.
