Walk Highlights
This walk is available again every Monday mornings in July to October 2026.
Visitors will be delighted by the views of the Swan River and Perth City that unfold on this walk. Cultivated native plants in the Botanic Garden contrast with wildflowers of the Kings Park bushland.
Taking the scenic Law Walk along the edge of Mt Eliza escarpment you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Swan River and Perth city with the Darling Range as a backdrop. Marvel at the varied form and colours of the flowers including the hakeas and grevilleas in Roe Gardens. The Kings Park bushland will then reward you with wildflowers such as banksias, jarrahs and marris and more.
If you’d like to do a walk join one of our Discover Kings Park walks which are held at 10 am and 1 pm every day of the year except Christmas Day.
Follow us on Eventbrite to keep informed about other walks that are held at different times of the year.

Wildflowers and Bushland
Seasonal WalksOur Wildflowers and Bushland walks have finished for 2025 and were enjoyed by many. They will be on again in the spring of 2026 when we will walk the raised paths in the Kings Park bush trail and discover some of our spectacular flora in its natural environment.
Heart of the Park
Seasonal WalksJoin us in spring of 2026 to learn about the park as you stroll through the ever changing bushland. You'll see something different as the seasons change - you might be lucky enough to see a variety of orchids: our state floral emblem, the red kangaroo paw, putting of a display in the bush or the grass trees are also showing their starlike, white flowers as a contrast. It promises to be a great experience.
Seasonal Walks
Seasonal WalksOur Seasonal Walks - Heart of the Park, Wildflowers and Bushland and Waterviews and Bushland, are finished for 2025. They will be on again in spring 2026 when you can join us to get a different perspective of Kings Park.
